PRINT - Regional ADs, Icelandic Lamb

The Reykjavik Grapevine is the most widely distributed English language paper in Iceland. Tourism has emerged as the number one driving force in the economy and the majority of theses visitors (surpassing 2 million) have English as the predominant language.

Targeting your audience is equally important as the message your business is trying to convey. Designing smart, effective advertising that connects quickly and meaningfully to your audience is critical for achieving the best possible ROI.

The people at Icelandic Lamb had produced some impressive grassroots work forming collective agreements with local businesses that are selling Icelandic Lamb products. In turn several were given handsome medal shields with the Icelandic Lamb logo for prominent display. Upstate Pictures saw to build upon this work with a "Look for the Shield" campaign concept. Having these Shields displayed at regional business, targeted media ads were designed to raise public awareness, inform consumers and drive traffic to these member businesses.
